Huckleberry Swamp… a walk through nature.
Huckleberry Swamp is a project of the Olga Fleisher Ornithological Foundation, Inc (OFOF). OFOF is a private, non-profit organization founded in 1979 for the preservation of habitat for birds and wildlife.
Due to safety concerns, Huckleberry Swamp closes every Fall (around mid-November, or when the boardwalk becomes too slippery) and reopens each March, or when the boardwalk is safe and the trails have been cleaned. Please follow the Huckleberry Swamp Facebook Page for updates.
Please note:
- The trail is closed every Monday for maintenance
- No dogs are allowed
- Huckleberry Swamp is a “carry in/carry out” trail

LENGTH OF TRAIL: .8 miles
DIFFICULTY: Huckleberry Swamp is a “Forever Wild for Everyone” trail.
PASSPORT MARKER: approximately 1/10 of a mile in on the western entrance; it is to the left of the first bridge you come to.
